In this hands-on, 5-day camp, kids will explore the exciting world of handbuilding with clay! We'll create a variety of forms—from sculptural pieces to functional items—while learning key techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building. Each day will include a variety of engaging lessons including jar making, monster mugs, claymation, and spending time outside to observe and collect natural textures for inspiration at Natural Bridges State Park.

This camp is perfect for curious, creative kids who love to get their hands dirty. No prior clay experience needed—just bring a lunch, water bottle, and your imagination!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll sculpt a one-of-a-kind jar inspired by your pet—or any animal you love. Bring a photo of your furry, feathered, or scaly friend (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish… all are welcome!) and we’ll guide you through the process of turning their likeness into a fun and functional ceramic vessel.

No clay experience? No problem! This workshop is perfect for first-timers and animal lovers alike.

Join us for a morning edition of Sip & Throw! A relaxed and playful introduction to wheel throwing—paired with your favorite beverage!

Whether you're on a date, out with friends, or flying solo, this beginner-friendly class will guide you through the basics of working on the pottery wheel. You’ll learn how to center clay and shape a simple form (like a cup or bowl), all while sipping and socializing in a laid-back atmosphere.

Painted Plate Portraits

Come paint a portrait on a plate! Come with a friend, a picture to paint from (family, pet, whatever!), or a mirror! Whether you're coming solo, with a friend, or on a date, it’s the perfect activity for making a meaningful gift and a memorable night.

We’ll explore basic underglaze painting methods, color mixing, layering, and how to work with the shape of the plate as part of your composition. No prior painting or ceramics experience needed—just bring a printed photo, friend, or reference image and your enthusiasm!

Clay Surface Decoration Workshop

Monday July 21st 5:30 pm - 8:30pm

In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore a variety of techniques that will help you expand your personal style and add depth, texture, and character to your clay pieces. Topics covered: sgraffito, inlay, monoprint with underglaze transfers, texture stamping, using wax resist, and stencils design.

You’ll have the opportunity to practice each method on a series of clay tiles, which will be bisque-fired and glaze-fired after the workshop. Finished tiles will be ready for pickup approximately 2–3 weeks after the workshop.

This workshop is geared towards intermediate potters looking for a playful, creative space to explore new methods.

4-weeks | Saturdays 1-4pm | MARCH 1st - MARCH 22nd

Joint adult-kid class where you will be introduced to clay and learn to throw on the wheel! Come with your kiddo, niece, nephew, grandchild, kid you mentor etc. Open to ages 7+.

This class is a great opportunity to spend quality time together and learn a new fun skill. Pottery can be calming, silly, frustrating, messy, and extremely fun :) . Adult-kid pairs will be sharing a wheel and working together to make your pieces (mug, bowl, or other forms).

Class will occur weekly on Saturdays 1-4pm starting March 1st and ending March 22nd.

Studio will provide tools, clay, and shelf space for storage during the duration of the class.

In this class, you’ll craft your very own ceramic latte art mug or pour-over set—perfect for cozy mornings or your daily ritual. You'll learn basic hand-building skills and have the freedom to add your personal style through color and texture.

Tamir from Rainy Day Coffee will join us during class to share a bit about coffee & how mug shape, size, and design can influence the way we experience coffee & espresso. You'll come away with both a beautiful handmade piece and a deeper appreciation for your daily brew.

After your piece is glazed and fired, you'll return on pickup day to celebrate your creation with a cup of locally roasted coffee — poured fresh into your brand-new handmade mug or pour-over. It’s the perfect blend of craft, community, and comfort. If you can’t make the pickup date, no worries, you can pick up your piece another time!

We'll create a variety of forms—from sculptural pieces to functional items—while learning key techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building. Each day will include a variety of engaging lessons including jar making, monster mugs, claymation, and spending time outside to observe and collect natural textures for inspiration at Natural Bridges State Park.

This workshop is perfect for curious, creative kids who love to get their hands dirty. No prior clay experience needed—just bring a snack, water bottle, and your imagination!

All materials provided. Fired pieces will be ready for pickup 2–3 weeks after the workshop.

Ages 10-14 | This workshop is best suited for kids who can focus on a task for 30 minutes at a time, follow basic instructions, and work respectfully in a group setting.

Get into the spooky spirit with this fun, beginner-friendly workshop! Perfect for kids and adults — no experience needed. Craft some hauntingly cute ghost covers for your tea candles - customize them with fun hats or painting!

Pieces will be glazed & fired by studio staff and can be picked up 2-3 weeks after the class.

In this workshop, you’ll use hand‑building techniques to sculpt and decorate your very own ceramic tarot (or oracle!) box. Mercury, a local artist and tarot reader, will join us to illuminate the rich symbolism behind tarot imagery—sharing insights into archetypes, elemental directions, and inner mythologies that can inspire your design.

All materials & firing included. No experience necessary. This workshop is offered at a sliding scale (read more here).
