3 Day Kids Workshop
August 11-13 9am - 12pm
In this hands-on, 3-day workshop, kids will explore the exciting world of handbuilding with clay! We'll create a variety of forms—from sculptural pieces to functional items—while learning key techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building. Each day will include a variety of engaging lessons including jar making, monster mugs, claymation, and spending time outside to observe and collect natural textures for inspiration at Natural Bridges State Park.
This workshop is perfect for curious, creative kids who love to get their hands dirty. No prior clay experience needed—just bring a snack, water bottle, and your imagination!
All materials provided. Fired pieces will be ready for pickup 2–3 weeks after the workshop.
Ages 10-14 | This workshop is best suited for kids who can focus on a task for 30 minutes at a time, follow basic instructions, and work respectfully in a group setting.
