In this exciting 8-week course, you'll have the opportunity to design, sculpt, glaze, and wire your very own one-of-a-kind lamp. This class is beginner friendly and previous clay experience is a bonus. Explore a variety of handbuilding techniques and let your creativity shine as you craft a masterpiece that will truly light up any room!
Students will be expected to provide their own light bulb and lamp shade - thrift, repurpose, make one out of clay, or buy one! You can decide based on the design of your individual lamp, which will be part of the first class. The studio will provide wiring supplies, tools, clay, and shelf space for storage during the duration of the class. Lamp designs will be limited to table lamps with a maximum 12 inch height/width.

class makeup policy: we understand that sometimes life happens and you might need to miss a class. if you miss one or two sessions, you're welcome to make them up during our open studio hours on wednesdays 4-8PM.
refund policy: classes are non-refundable one week before the first class starts. full refund if canceled two weeks before first class & 1/2 refund if canceled before the one week cut-off. any refund requested before the one week cut off is subject to a $20 processing fee which will be deducted from your refund total.
