learn to create by using the techniques of pinching, coil building, molds, and clay slabs.

please plan to bring a simple $20 clay tool kit to the first class. the class fee will include one 25-pound bag of clay; additional clay will be available for purchase for $30 a bag. each student will receive shelf space to store work, clay, and tools for the class duration. there will be four 3 hour classes. the first three will be for building & the final class will be for glazing. you will also have full access to the studio during open studio hours (SU 12-5pm) for the duration of your class; teacher will be available during this time to answer any questions.

it is highly recommended that you plan to utilize open studio hours for practice as this class only lasts 4 weeks. your last day to begin pieces will be the last class; after that you are welcome to come to the following open studio hours to complete those pieces.
